Czech Team Championship in SNG

posted on April 27, 2010

PokerLoco had sent a team to play the Czech Team Championship in Sit n Go’s. Out of 48 teams we’re proud to say that our Czech team ended up in 4th place.

The championship was divided into 3 rounds and all teams had to qualify their way through the rounds. This was an exciting and very funny event which we’ve got the details for below.

———————————————————————————————————————————

  • 1st round was played as a 8 man SNG (6 groups) and the best teams from each group advanced to the 2nd round.
  • 2nd round was played as a 8 man SNG (3 groups) with the 3 best teams advancing to the final round.
  • Final round was played as a 9 man SNG

———————————————————————————————————————————

We congratulate the players for a fine 4th place and if you want to play Sit n Go’s with any of these players, look for ” piranhaSK “, ” Mr__Student ” or ” msvoco ” in the poker client at PokerLoco.

Pictures from the event can be found below.

Player Points calculation change

posted on April 26, 2010

On Thursday 29th of April we are planning to make a change to the way that Player Points are calculated. This change is merely a small change that will only affect certain poker games. The change will only affect Poker Cash Games and not Tournaments. The way Player Points are calculated for Tournaments will remain the same as before.

This change affecting ONLY poker cash games say’s the following:

———————————————————————————————————————————

Cash Games NEW Player Points calculation

For cash games, Player Points are awarded based on the rake that you contribute to each pot. 3.25 Player Points are awarded for every dollar you contribute in rake.

Points are awarded in 0.01 steps, for example if you contribute 0.4 dollar in rake you will receive 1.3 Player Points.

———————————————————————————————————————————

If you have any questions regarding this change, please contact support@pokerloco.com and we will be happy to answer your questions.

Player Points at PokerLoco.com are used to clear Bonuses, earn VIP Points that can be exchanged for cash, tickets and merchandise. Player Points are also used to define your VIP Level in our poker VIP program. To learn more about our VIP Program, visit: https://www.pokerloco.com/mypokeraccount/locovip.htm
